This text is provided for those that cannot view images for whatever reason. Here we see a beautiful image of a classic English country village with traditional thatched cottages atop a steep winding hill.
Register your accommodation for as little as £1.50 per month.
Next we see an image of bright yellow tulips in front of what is probably London's most famous landmark, if not Englands, Big Ben.

Birkhow is the perfect starting place for setting out to explore the Lake District's fells and countryside ... and an even better place to come back to after being out all day.
The cottage is beautiful throughout and has one double room and two twins. The kitchen is fully equipped and the sitting room is large and light with a cosy open fire for those winter evenings. There is a separate dining room with a wood burning stove.
The garden has a patio area for barbeques and outdoor eating.
Eskdale's village shop is just five minutes walk away and there are two pubs 15 minutes walk from the door. It is a wonderful starting point for hundreds of walks, either on the fells or along the banks of the River Esk, which flows from Scafell at the top of the valley down to the estuary at Ravenglass, an old fishing village complete with a ruined Roman bath-house!
Pets are welcome.
