Cherry Tree Cottages are located in a quiet rural Calderdale village, in the heart of Pennine Yorkshire, close to Halifax. We are ideally situated for exploring Bronte Country and the historic towns and moorland scenery of the South Pennines.

Cherry Tree Cottage and Heather Bank Cottage are available all year and we can promise you a friendly personal welcome. There is direct access from both cottages to the large two acre wildlife garden, with pond, trees and heather banks and direct access to open countryside and footpaths. There are many good pubs and restaurants in the local area, some within walking distance.

As we are keen walkers and cyclists ourselves, we can offer advice on local footpaths and bridleways, including the Calderdale Way long distance path which passes within 800m of the cottages.

Pets and children are welcome and children will find the whole garden adventurous, with rope swings and rocks to climb.

Midway House is superbly located in one of York's finest suburbs, close to the Historic City Centre, which can be reached via a pleasant riverside walk.

Built in 1897, this stylish Victorian Villa has been caringly modernised whilst maintaining many of its unique characteristics. We have a private enclosed car park for up to 14 vehicles. The University, Barbican Centre, Fulford Barracks, and many of York's splendid attractions are within easy reach, including the Designer Shopping Complex at Naburn, and York Racecourse which is accessible via the pedestrian Millennium Bridge over the River Ouse.
