We are a large spacious victorian guest house, recently refurbished to a very high standard, situated on Hastings promenade 100 metres west of the pier.

The front of the house has panoramic views of the seafront and the English Channel

Within 5 minutes level walk from all local amenities, the White Rock Theatre, pier and town centre. There are also bowling greens, museums, pubs, restaurants, town centre tourist attractions and two main-line train stations (St Leonards Warrior Square and Hastings) nearby.

Sparth House, with all the majestic splendour of Georgian architecture and set in its own grounds, is a Grade ll listed building built in 1740. The interior, though, with wood panelled walls festooned with oil paintings and antique figurines delicately poised throughout the hotel, reflects the elegance and enchantment of the Victorian era.

Sparth House is perfectly situated on the edge of the Ribble Valley within easy reach of the Lake District and the Trough of Bowland. Nearby are many historic features and attractions including Whalley Abbey, Haworth Art Gallery and Clitheroe Castle.

We have 16 individually styled suites and bedrooms, including a room which has the original furnishings from one of the staterooms of the RMS Olympic, sister ship to the RMS Titanic.
